Thomas Johnson Youth Athletic Association of Football and Cheerleading enables young athletes to excel in athletics while encouraging the value of scholastics, sportsmanship, and competition. The mission of Thomas Johnson Youth Athletic Association is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, we teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. 

Our program models Gov. Thomas Johnson High School and is coordinating efforts with head coach -- Bobby Humphries. This allows TJYAA to teach the fundamentals of the GTJHS program and introduce the basics of their offense and defensive schemes. With these coordination efforts, our football players will have a near seamless transition from TJYAA to GTJHS.
