We are back for our 3rd year! We aim to make TJ youth Football and Cheer bigger and better than before!
TJYAA is modeling the Gov. Thomas Johnson High School football program and coordinating efforts with head coach Beau Traber.
Modeling GTJHS allows TJYAA to teach the fundamentals of the GTJHS program and introduce the basics of their offense and defensive schemes. With these coordination efforts, our football players will seamlessly transition from TJYAA to GTJHS.
Thomas Johnson Youth Athletic Association of Football and Cheerleading enables young athletes to excel in athletics while encouraging the value of academics, sportsmanship, and competition. The mission of the Thomas Johnson Youth Athletic Association is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment.
Through this active participation, we teach fundamental values, skills, and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives!
TJYAA accepts athletes from all Frederick County Schools ages 5-14.
