Please Note: This camp is not mandatory but highly recommended as it is a chance for the team to bond and learn basic cheer fundamentals

Practices
Practice Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Practice Time: 6 - 7:15 PM

First Practice: Tuesday, July 28, 2026
Consistent attendance at practices is required.
Please expect extra practice days toward the end of the season to prepare for competition expos.
Games
A game schedule with locations will be provided in August.
Parents can expect up to 1 hour travel time for some field locations.
All athletes must arrive at the field at least 30 minutes before the game starts.

League Information
TJYAA has returned to the CCYFCL (Carroll County Youth Football and Cheerleading League).
Currently there are 11 programs that represent the CCYFCL, which will have rotating games throughout the season.
Uniforms
Uniforms will be sized and provided the first week in August.
Includes: Top, Skirt, Poms
**Uniforms and equipment will NOT be provided to the athlete if the deposit has not been submitted by deadline.
Extra Costs
Refundable Deposits:
Families must turn in 3 deposit checks:
$200 Uniform/Equipment Deposit
$200 Fundraiser Participation Deposit
$100 Volunteer Service Deposit (unless you chose the volunteer buyout).
*All deposit checks must be handed directly to the Head Coach (Alyssa Cruz).*
Deposit Deadline: July 28, 2026
Deposit checks will remain uncashed and are returned at the end of the season upon completion of required volunteer hours, fundraising participation, and uniform/equipment return.
For each athlete, a parent or guardian (or other arranged member) must volunteer at least one home game for either chains, field setup, spotter, concession stand, apparel stand, etc.

Welcome to TJ Youth Cheer! Our youth cheer program offers athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Cheerleaders will perform at football games, participate in community and league events, and learn a routine for competition expos.
No prior cheer experience is required - just your energy, spirit, and positive attitude!
